Maybe I have the wrong impression, but Icon records seemed
to me to be an extended data typing more than a database
tool? For data I usually store it in CSV (comma delimited format)
files. I index the key fields into Icon tables for quick access.
Interfaces to commercial databases are a bit beyond me.
